At Jacobs, our Power Solutions team is geared towards providing a more integrated approach offering end-to-end service to support our clients in energy networks, thermal generation, renewable generation, and storage solutions space. We are helping our clients meet the challenges faced in countries and cities across the globe, providing innovative solutions from replacing conventional thermal power plants with renewable energy to developing demand side management strategies.  

As part of our portfolio of works in the Kingdom and forecasted increase in portfolio of projects, we are seeking Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QAQC) Leads and Advisors, to join our team in the Kingdom. This is a site-based role (remote, KSA), where the resource will be deployed full-time on the project. As a QAQC Lead or Advisor, you will be working as an integral part of our project delivery team ensuring implementation of project quality management system in compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and client requirements.

Responsibilities not limited to;

  • Review project Quality Plan and align it with Jacobs and clients Quality Policy, if required prepare new Quality Plan and assure its implementation.

  • Develop quality objectives and targets for project documentation, assist and coordinate with the team of Jacobs and client’s document controllers and set-up an efficient system for documentation routing.

  • Build a standards document review and approval system for Jacobs and client, specific to project and discipline.

  • Set-up and manage Aconex account for Jacobs and manage and act as the Aconex interface manager.

  • Prepare and conduct training for Jacobs, client, proponents, designers, and contractors’ relevant personnel on Aconex working environment.

  • Establish QAQC audit programs, and coordinate with vendors, suppliers, designers, and contractors to maintain documentation quality standards for the project.

Here’s what you’ll need :

About you;

  • Degree qualified in Electrical, Controls, or Mechanical Engineering with an ISO 9001:2015 credentials from a renowned certifying body.

  • The successful candidate for the leadership role should hold a minimum 15-year experience in the field, whilst advisors must have at least 10 years’ experience.

  • An excellent understanding on Aconex work environment, and successful track record of managing QAQC of large-scale infrastructure projects working on Aconex or similar platform.

  • Experience working in the Middle East especially Saudi Arabia is highly advantageous.
