Regional Sales Leader/ Client Account Manager

Jacobs currently has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Regional Sales Leader/ Client Account Manager to join our growing organisation, based in The Hague.

Role responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain and implement client account strategies

  • Identify, charter and lead client account teams around a common vision

  • Oversight of all prospects within the portfolio

  • Ensure compliance with internal reporting requirements

  • Share client engagement and industry knowledge with colleagues

  • Coordinate Client Satisfaction Surveys

  • Build and maintain local networks in the following fields; Buildings privet and governmental sector, Infrastructure, Infraworks, private sector, Rail, Ports and harbors, Industrial

  • Understand the client’s business: drivers, challenges, spending forecasts, stakeholders

  • Create deep personal relationships with the client and act as a trusted advisor

  • Identify opportunities and prospects to create priority targets

  • Stay current on contracted projects, providing executive input where practicable

  • Ensure that Jacobs is a visible industry leader through working groups, conference papers, press releases, targeted marketing and networking

  • Develop commercial, contractual and technical strategies

  • Develop solutions to manage risk exposure and optimise RoI

  • Converts the win strategy into a compliant and compelling submission

  • Close out the contract signing and lead the handover to Operations


Essential criteria:

  • Good knowledge of Dutch mainland contract types (UAV-UAV-GC- RAW-STABU, DBFM)

  • Knowledge of NL and EU tender rules

  • Significant Market / industry experience

  • Experience of developing business strategies

  • Sales process experience

  • Contract & risk management experience

  • Senior client relationship experience

  • Established at leveraging stakeholder contacts

  • Self-drive and motivation
