The purpose of this role is to lead ESG, Sustainability and Climate Resilience capability, opportunities, and projects in Asia. The role will be accountable for identifying and growing the quality of technical outputs on assigned tenders and projects. Aside from direct involvement on assigned projects, the role is required to support technical leadership in projects and business development, collaborate with operations and sales team and actively participate in Client engagement and business development opportunities in pursuit of future work for the business. The individual, together with the Environmental Regional Solutions Director and Technical Director should have the ability to identify, manage and mitigate the technical risk exposure to the business. The individual should have a good grasp of adequate controls that can be applied to manage technical risks in both Project Delivery and Sales. The role will be responsible for managing the team of junior consultants and recruitment as necessary.

Here’s what you’ll need :

To be a successful candidate, you shall possess:

  • Degree and/or postgraduate qualification in a relevant field of study.

  • Membership of a recognized professional institution/organization will be an added advantage.

  • Technical capability in ESG Materiality Assessment, ESG Strategy, and Framework Development.

  • Strong communication skills to articulate a clear technical direction with good social, networking, and presentation skills.

  • Significant discipline/ industry presence recognized and valued by Jacobs’ clients at the national or international level.

  • Recognized as an authority able to work with our teams to solve technical problems and achieve a high level of assurance on project deliverables.
