This role provides a unique opportunity to work with our internal & external stakeholders locally and globally to provide high value consulting and advisory services.

As the Solution Centre lead, you will be responsible for recruitment, mobilisation and retention of strategic consulting staff aligned with a number of identified regions and capabilities.

§ Provide leadership to a growing group of highly effective strategic consultants supporting our global teams.

§ Support Solution Centre team to help strategic consulting teams across the globe to win strategic consulting projects (client positioning, proposal inputs etc)

§ Building strong & trusted relationships with global strategic consulting leaders and teams in UK, Middle East, Australia and New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong and United States to continually grow a pipeline of work to the Solution Centre team.

§ Monitor and improve where necessary quality measures to ensure projects being delivered by Solution Centre Team members meet agreed expectations.

§ Promote the Strategic Consulting Solution Centre at internal Jacobs forums

§ Financial Performance – Delivery of accurate financial performance business forecasting to meet identified KPIs.

§ Invest for the future – ensuring long term capability planning meets (internal & external) and market demands.

§ Identify and act on market and technological trends – integrating new technologies (e.g. artificial intelligence) and innovation into how the team works

Here’s what you’ll need :

§ Qualification in strategy, planning, business administration (MBA) or related field with more than 10 years of experience.

§ Strong leadership skills and experience in collaboration with other operational and growth and sales functions.

§ Effective communication including presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with people at all levels professionally.

§ Excellent analytical, quantitative, qualitative, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.

§ Strong analytical and structured thinking, exposure to team work as well as global stakeholder engagement.

§ Direct experience and/or strong demonstrated understanding in applying emerging technologies (e.g. Artificial Intelligence) in the winning and delivery of consulting and advisory projects

§ Direct experience and/or strong demonstrated understanding of advising public and/or private sector organisations on to respond to and prepare for climate change
