We are seeking an ambitious Drainage Engineer to join our team in Nevada. Someone who can use their vast knowledge of roadway, drainage, water quality, erosion control, and hydraulic systems and apply them to today’s challenges. Preference is for this position to be based locally, however remote is a possibility.

The base salary range for this position is $81,900 to $195,700. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations [add if remote]. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Here’s what you’ll need :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering is required.

  • PE in Nevada

  • Experience with design software such as GIS (ArcMap), AutoCAD, MicroStation, InRoads, HECHMS, HEC-RAS, HY-8, FHWA Hydraulic Toolbox

  •  Ability to learn Civil3D, OpenRoads Designer/SUDA, or other hydrology/hydraulics programs, as needed

  • Interest with hydrology and hydraulics for river systems, 1D and 2D

  • Demonstrates strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills and capable of working with internal colleagues, clients, contractors, and regulatory agency staff
